MUNICIPLE WASTE Answer Fan Questions

MUNICIPLE WASTE fans recently submitted questions to the Nuclear Blast Europe Facebook page for the band to answer.

A video of the band answering the questions at the Summer Breeze Open-Air festival in Germany, can be seen above.

Municipal Waste recently debut the animated video for the song ‘You’re Cut Off’.

The animation for ‘You’re Cut Off’ was created by Pierre Mousquet and Jerume Cauwe of IMOV Studios and is a track off of Municipal Waste’s latest album, The Fatal Feast.

WHITESNAKE Frontman Interviewed By His Granddaughter

WHITESNAKE mainman David Coverdale was interviewed by his granddaughter Georgina for the first episode of Whitesnake TV. David talks about his life and career as the founder of WHITESNAKE.

WHITESNAKE is currently mixing and editing a live album and a separate in-concert DVD from the “Forevermore” world tour, plus mixing special expanded editions of “Into The Light” and “Restless Heart“.

WHITESNAKE‘s latest album, “Forevermore“, sold around 12,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 49 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was recorded, produced and mixed by Los Bros Brutalos (Coverdale, Doug Aldrich and Michael McIntyre).

Video Footage Of ‘Slaughter By The Water’ Performance By AUTOPSY

Video footage of AUTOPSY‘s performance at the third annual Slaughter By The Water festival, which took place last Saturday, August 25 on the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier in Alameda, California, can be seen above (courtesy of Capital Chaos TV).

AUTOPSY has just released a new DVD, “Born Undead“, via Peaceville Records. The set charts AUTOPSY‘s birth, death and rebirth with an extensive documentary conducted with the bandmembers themselves, as they describe how the beast came to be, and the impact their music has had on the metal world over a span of more than 20 years.

The film also documents the band’s long-awaited return to the studio and stage, and includes rehearsal footage of both new tracks and old classics for their live comeback assault.

The trio of 2010 reunion shows are all featured here, with all the best classic tracks from Maryland Deathfest, Party.San Open Air festival and Hole In The Sky in Norway, where the trio of Chris Reifert, Eric Cutler and Danny Coralles was joined by Dan Lilker (NUCLEAR ASSAULT, BRUTAL TRUTH) on bass.

SLAYER’s Hot Minute With Kerry King

Hot Topic caught up with SLAYER‘s Kerry King for a Hot Minute at the Mayhem Festival.

According to Hindustantimes.com, Slayer are confirmed for Rock ‘N India, India’s only International Rock festival, which will raise its curtains on October 20th in Bangalore. The annual festival, produced by DNA Entertainment Networks Pvt. Ltd. since 2008, has hosted some of the greatest artists in the world of international music.

PHILIP ANSELMO Checks In From Hurricane Isaac-Hit New Orleans

Former PANTERA and current DOWN frontman Philip Anselmo has posted two short video updates from his home in New Orleans, where Hurricane Isaac is currently underway.

According to CNN, Isaac made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane seven years after Hurricane Katrina swept ashore in Louisiana and Mississippi. Katrina was responsible for the deaths of 1,800 people, most in New Orleans after the levee system failed and the city flooded.

ANTHRAX Bassist Talks ESP In New Video Interview

Video footage of ANTHRAX bassist Frank Bello talking about how he connected with ESP and giving details about his ESP Frank Bello and LTD FB-4 Signature Series models can be seen in two parts above.

The biopic “Greetings From Tim Buckley“, which marks the feature film debut of Frank Bello, will premiere this September at the Toronto International Film Festival. Frank Wood (“Changeling“, “The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3“) plays songwriter and Jeff Buckley collaborator Gary Lucas, while Penn Badgley (“Gossip Girl“) has been cast as Tim Buckley‘s son Jeff. Dan Algrant (“People I Know“, “Naked in New York“) directed from a script he co-wrote with Emma Sheanshang and David Brendel.

LITA FORD Performs Acoustically On Iowa’s LAZER 103.3

’80s hard rock queen Lita Ford and her touring guitarist, Mitch Perry, performed a short acoustic set on August 28 at the studios of the Des Moines, Iowa radio station Lazer 103.3.

Lita’s new solo album, “Living Like A Runaway“, was released on June 19 in North America via SPV/Steamhammer. The effort was made available in four configurations: a double LP, limited-edition CD, standard CD and digital download. The artwork for the album was created by famed rock photographer Mark Weiss.

Lita’s current touring band consists of the following musicians:

PARAGON Announce World Release Dates For Force OF Destruction

German power metallers PARAGON have announced world release dates for their forthcoming tenth album Force OF Destruction. The band will release their album via Napalm Records on the following dates:

October 19 – Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz 24 – Spain, Finland, Sweden, Great Britain 26 – Benelux 29 – Rest of Europe

November 6 – US, Canada

The new longplayer was produced by Piet Sielck (GAMMA RAY, BLIND GUARDIAN, IRON SAVIOUR) at Powerhouse, Hamburg. Guest vocals on the bonus version of the song ‘Blood & Iron’ were done by Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray, UNISONIC) and Piet Sielck.

‘Stand Up’ Lyric Video Released By ALL THAT REMAINS

Massachusetts metallers ALL THAT REMAINS will release their new album, “A War You Cannot Win“, on November 6 via Razor & Tie/Prosthetic. The CD sees the band reunited with longtime producer Adam Dutkiewicz (THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, AS I LAY DYING, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE). The record is the culmination of an intense writing period for the group that began shortly after their 18-month tour in support of “For We Are Many“.

The “A War You Cannot Win” cover artwork was created by Paul R. Brown (STONE SOUR, SLIPKNOT, MÖTLEY CRÜE, KORN, GODSMACK, AVENGED SEVENFOLD).

Also available is the lyric video for the album’s first single, “Stand Up“.
