Mark Carras of Rock My Monkey TV recently conducted an interview with vocalist Nick Holmes of British gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST.
“Fear Of Impending Hell“, the new video from PARADISE LOST, was directed and produced by the band’s own Steve Edmondson (bass) and features live-performance and behind-the-scenes footage.
The song comes off PARADISE LOST‘s new album, “Tragic Idol“, which sold around 900 copies in the United States in its first week of release.
The CD landed at position No. 32 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

Canadian thrash band HERO’S LAST RITE have released their video for the track, ‘I Am Atomic’. The video was shot in Fredericton, New Brunswick with director Tim Rayne and marks the band’s first official music video.

PureGrainAudio‘s Julie Hagemans conducted an interview with guitarist Corey Beaulieu of Florida metallers TRIVIUM backstage at the Heavy T.O. festival, which was held on August 11-12 at Downsview Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Speaking to PureGrainAudio‘s Mitch Lafon at this year’s edition of the Heavy MTL festival, Beaulieu was asked if TRIVIUM is planning to return to the studio soon to begin recording the follow-up to last year’s “In Waves“. “Right now we’re on our last North American tour,” Corey said. “And then we’ve got a few other things, like South America and a European headlining tour. That wraps up November 20 — [that] is the last show — but then the rest of the year is gonna be, I guess, recharging; we’re taking a break. And as soon as January hits, we’re pumping out a new album that will hopefully be out maybe August or September next year; that’s kind of the goal.”
