DELAIN To Release ‘Interlude’ In May
Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers DELAIN will release a special album, “Interlude“, on the following dates:

“Interlude” is described in in a press release as “a fantastic blend of brand-new songs, special versions and mixes of popular DELAIN tracks, covers, and the beautiful single ‘Are You Done With Me’. Thanks to the new mix, the well-known anthem shines with a new-found splendor.
The album includes a special DVD featuring exclusive live footage and clips from the band’s career. ‘Interlude‘ is not only a must for loyal DELAIN fans, but also for those who have not experienced the music by DELAIN so far. Metallica With Orion Music + More Festival 2013 Line-Up Revealed
Metallica hosted the first Orion Music + More Festival last year and the band will repeat the dose this year at a new location: Detroit, Michigan on June 8th and 9th. The details of the second annual fest have already been revealed.

FOZZY Frontman Interviewed On ‘The Mike James Rock Show’
In December 2012, “The Mike James Rock Show” conducted an interview with FOZZY singer and WWE wrestling superstar Chris Jericho during the band’s U.K. tour with SOIL.
The lead single from FOZZY‘s new album, “Sin And Bones“, “Sandpaper” features guest vocals by M. Shadows of AVENGED SEVENFOLD. Directed by Sean McEwen, the accompanying video is inspired by horror classic “Evil Dead“, with Shadows playing the role of FOZZY‘s evil puppet master.

‘Death To All’ North American Tour Dates Announced
“Death To All” — which features a number of DEATH‘s amazing musicians celebrating the life and music of Chuck Schuldiner — will embark on its second North American tour in April. The first leg of the trek will feature the three surviving members of DEATH‘s “Human” lineup (guitarist Paul Masvidal, bassist Steve DiGiorgio and drummer Sean Reinert) performing material from the group’s first four albums.
A vocalist for the shows has yet to be announced. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a charity that provides financial assistance to career musicians faced with illness, disability or age-related problems. A second leg of dates will take place later this year.

Heavy music presenter Christina Rowatt of Soundwave TV conducted an interview with Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE on Saturday (February 23) at the Brisbane stop of this year’s Soundwave festival in Australia.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE‘s fourth album, “Temper, Temper“, sold 44,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 13 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD arrived in stores on February 12 via RCA.

PERIPHERY With New Video Interview Posted Online
Australia’s AMH TV conducted an interview with Maryland-based experimental, progressive metallers PERIPHERY during this year’s Soundwave festival.
PERIPHERY‘s sophomore album, “Periphery II: This Time It’s Personal“, which sold nearly 12,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 44 on The Billboard 200 chart.
The CD was released in North America on July 3, 2012 via Sumerian Records and was made available in Europe on July 16, 2012 through Century Media Records. It features guest appearances by John Petrucci (DREAM THEATER), Guthrie Govan (THE ARISTOCRATS) and Wes Hauch (THE FACELESS).

Six Feet Under With Another New Song Available For Streaming
Six Feet Under‘s new song “Prophecy” off their upcoming album Unborn, which will be available March 19th through Metal Blade Records, has premiered online. Head over to metal-hammer.de to listen to it. This is the second single the band releases from the album.
