Clubinit.TV conducted an interview with the Swedish all-girl hard rock quartet CRUCIFIED BARBARA on April 11 at The Note in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

CRUCIFIED BARBARA‘s latest album, “The Midnight Chase“, was released in May 2012 in Europe and in July 2012 in North America via Nuclear Blast. The CD was recorded at Music-A-Matic Vintage Recording Studio in Gothenberg, Sweden with sound engineer Henryk Lipp and producer Chips Kiesby.

DOWN With Fan-Filmed Video Footage Of MARYLAND DEATHFEST Performance

Fan-filmed video footage of DOWN‘s May 25 performacne at Maryland Deathfest XI festival in Baltimore can be seen above.

DOWN‘s latest EP, “Down IV Part I – The Purple EP“, was released on purple vinyl on February 26.

“Down IV Part I” sold 12,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 35 on The Billboard 200 chart.

In Flames Debut New Video

Swedish metallers In Flames have some interesting news for us today. First of all, the band has premiered a new video for their song “Ropes” taken from Sounds Of A Playground Fading, their latest album released in 2011.

The video was made entirely by In Flames fans as part of the project “Making of Ropes” and edited by Erik Engstrand. Take a look at the result above.

‘Without SLAYER, SEPULTURA Would Never Be Possible’

Guitarist Andreas Kisser of Brazilian/American thrashers SEPULTURA has commented on the recent announcement that SLAYER guitarist and co-founder Jeff Hanneman died on May 2 from alcohol-related cirrhosis of the liver.

“When we were on the road [in Europe], we heard about the shocking news about Jeff Hanneman. I didn’t expect that at all. My impression was that he was getting better and soon we will be able to see him killing with SLAYER again. It was so sad. The SEPULTURA family will miss him deeply. Without SLAYER, SEPULTURA would never be possible. Thanks for all the inspiration and the great music, Jeff. RIP.”
