LACUNA COIL‘s latest album, “Dark Adrenaline“, sold around 20,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 15 on The Billboard 200 chart. It marked the band’s second CD with producer Don Gilmore (LINKIN PARK, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE) at the helm.

Filmed at the band’s sold-out January 19 show at Brixton O2 Academy in London, England, the clip gives fans a taste of what’s to come from ASKING ALEXANDRIA‘s third album, “From Death To Destiny“, which will be released on August 6 via Sumerian Records.
The CD was recorded with renowned producer Joey Sturgis (THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, EMMURE).
Most of the new CD was tracked at Sturgis’ studio in Indiana, while the vocals and strings and choir parts were laid down at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood, California.

Long-running Bay Area thrash metal lords Testament are set to take a look at their long career through a pair of back catalogue-exploring vinyl reissues due out on Prosthetic Records. The label will deliver vinyl pressings of the band’s 2001 anthology First Strike Still Deadly and an expanded edition of the group’s Live At Eindhoven ’87 on September 24th.
The 2001’s First Strike Still Deadly features tracks from Testament‘s iconic first two Megaforce/Atlantic albums (which have sold in excess of 500,000 copies combined), re-recorded with modern technology by the four-fifths of group’s original lineup.
The album has never been available on vinyl until now. Approximately 400 copies will be issued on 180-gram black vinyl; a limited-edition, 180-gram clear vinyl mail-order exclusive (approximately 100 copies) will also be offered.

Rob Zombie will be filming their first ever live DVD in Texas at the forthcoming Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival dates on August 3rd and 4th in Houston and Dallas respectively. The band has been touring in North America and presenting their new album Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor.
In other Rob Zombie projects, he will focus on the infamous and bloody rivalry between the Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers when he begins filming his hockey biopic movie later in the year. This will be his first foray from horror movies.
Rob Zombie also said in a recent interview that White Zombie will never reunite, so don’t get your hopes up.
