Multi-camera, fan-filmed video footage of CARCASS‘ entire September 25 performance at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York can be seen above.

The footage was filmed by Frank Huang and Frank Godla, and edited by Pit Full Of Shit.

CARCASS‘ new album, “Surgical Steel“, sold around 8,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 41 on The Billboard 200 chart.

The CD was released on September 16 in the U.K., September 13 in the rest of Europe and September 17 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records.

The effort was produced by Colin Richardson (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, NAPALM DEATH, SLIPKNOT, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE) and mixed by Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ACCEPT, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY).

WITHIN TEMPTATION With ‘Paradise’ Video Featuring TARJA TURUNEN Released

Dutch symphonic rockers WITHIN TEMPTATION have just released the “Paradise (What About Us?)” EP and promotional video, featuring a unique collaboration with classically trained Finnish rock diva, former NIGHTWISH singer Tarja Turunen, guesting on the title track.

For the first time, WITHIN TEMPTATION has also decided to give fans a very intimate insight into how they capture their song ideas early on.

The EP will contain three additional tracks — demo versions of brand new songs intended for the forthcoming album. The demos include “Let Us Burn“, “Silver Moonlight” and “Dog Days“.

Despite the demo versions missing intended symphonic, orchestral sounds and a finished mix, the powerful energy surging through the tracks can be heard right from the start.

Teaser For ‘Open The Gates Of Hell’ Video By WINDS OF PLAGUE

A teaser for “Open The Gates Of Hell“, the new video from Southern California metallers WINDS OF PLAGUE, can be seen above.

The song comes off the band’s fourth album, “Resistance“, which will be released on October 29 via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded with producer Will Putney, who has previously worked with SHADOWS FALL and SUICIDE SILENCE, among others.

WINDS OF PLAGUE last year parted ways with drummer Art Cruz due to creative differences. Sitting behind the kit during the studio sessions for the new album was Brandon Gallindo (ex-DEAD IN EXISTENCE).

WINDS OF PLAGUE will embark on a tour with BLEEDING THROUGH in early November.

TURISAS With Behind-The-Scenes Footage From ‘Ten More Miles’ Video Shoot

Behind-the-scenes footage from the making of “Ten More Miles“, the new Jukka Salo-directed video from Finnish “battle metal” warriors TURISAS, can be seen above.

The song comes off the band’s new album, “Turisas2013“, which was released on August 26 in Europe and was made available on September 3 in North America.

The CD was once again produced by vocalist Mathias Nygård and the majority of the album was recorded by Nygård and guitarist Jussi Wickström in a remote house outside of Helsinki that served as the “Turisas2013” command center and headquarters.

Additional recordings were done in three other studios: the drums at Atomic Spa Studio and orchestral recordings at 5 by 5 Studio, both in Helsinki.

A lot of vocals and numerous additional acoustic elements were laid down at Sound Supreme Studio in Hämeenlinna where TURISAS also recorded “The Varangian Way” and “Stand Up And Fight“.

SYLOSIS Members Hospitalized Following Road Accident

British metallers SYLOSIS have reportedly been forced to drop off their North American tour with TRIVIUM, DEVILDRIVER and AFTER THE BURIAL after being involved in a serious RV accident last night.

DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara broke the news via Twitter, explaining that SYLOSIS “ran into the back of a tractor trailer full speed” and “totaled the RV,” landing three of the members of the band in a local hospital.

He added: “My thoughts go out to those guys. This is so sad! Send positive thoughts, everyone.”

SYLOSIS has since tweeted the following short message: “We are all alive and well! We will keep everyone updated as we go!”
