WATAIN Mainman Talks To AlanCross.ca
Andrew Epstein of AlanCross.ca conducted an interview with vocalist/bassist Erik Danielsson of Swedish black metallers WATAIN prior to the band’s October 12 concert in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can now watch the chat above.
WATAIN‘s fifth full-length, “The Wild Hunt“, sold around 2,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD was released on August 19 in Europe and August 20 in USA via the band’s own label His Master’s Noise through Century Media Records.

HEAVEN’S BASEMENT Premier ‘Fire, Fire’ Live Video
HEAVEN’S BASEMENT have released a live video for their Top 20 single, ‘Fire, Fire’, from Download Festival 2013.
The live video release comes just weeks after the band released an acoustic version of the same track with a free download. Both releases have come while the UK-based rockers are in the middle of their tour with THE PRETTY RECKLESS.
The two bands are playing cities across the US and Canada until November 11th, when Heaven’s Basement will then head to Europe and the UK with BLACK VEIL BRIDES.

PEARL JAM Cover VAN HALEN Classics In Hartford
According to the VAN HALEN News Desk, PEARL JAM performed a VAN HALEN medley during their show at Hartford, Connecticut’s XL Center on October 25th.
It was during a 2010 show at the very same venue that they surprised the crowd by launching into ‘Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love’

PRIMAL FEAR Unveil Artwork, Release Date For ‘When Death Comes Knocking’ Single
German power metallers PRIMAL FEAR have revealed the artwork for ‘When Death Comes Knocking‘, to be released via Frontiers Records on December 3rd as the first single / video from the forthcoming album, Delivering The Black, due out in January.
Primal Fear recently shot a video for ‘When Death Comes Knocking’, and issued this update: “Video shoot for the first single off the new album ‘When Death Comes Knocking’, plus the second clip for ‘King For A Day’ executed!

Candlemass Performing Entire ‘Ancient Dreams’ Album In Sweden
Legendary Swedish doom metallers Candlemass will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their third album Ancient Dreams with a special live concert on December 28th at Debaser Medis in Stockholm, Sweden. The album which was originally released in 1988 has been hailed as a classic and will be performed in its entirety by Candlemass.
Last year, Candlemass was voted Sweden’s best rock/metal band of all time in Sweden Rock Magazine.
