Grand Magus With New Album Trailer Online

Swedish heavy doomsters Grand Magus will soon release their seventh album, Triumph And Power, on January 31st, 2014 via Nuclear Blast.

The follow-up to last year’s The Hunt was recorded with producer Nico Elgstrand and engineer Staffan Karlsson at Studio Sweetspot in Halmstad.

DEFECT DESIGNER Releases Lyric Video ‘Yellow Grimace’

Oslo-based technical death metallers DEFECT DESIGNER have released the lyric video for the new song called ‘Yellow Grimace’. The video was directed and edited by Richard Oakes of Dark Fable media.

Defect Designer is currently recording their second album. The band has just finished recording of drums, and the lineup for the album features none other than CRYPTOPSY drummer Flo Mounier and SEPTIC FLESH live guitarist Stelios Mavromitis.

The album will be produced by Christos Antoniou at SepticFlesh‘s studio DevaSoundz in Athens and is being engineered by Fotis Benardo.

Royal Hunt Release Lyric Video For New Song

After revealing audio samples, now arrives the official lyric video for the radio version of title track of A Life To Die For, the new studio album by metallers Royal Hunt. This is the first full song the band shares and will be the album closer.

A Life To Die For is now available in Europe and will hit stores on December 3rd in North America via Frontiers Records.

Professionally filmed video footage of BABYMETAL — the heavy metal offshoot of the Japanese pop idol group SAKURA GAKUIN that performs a distinctly Japanese mix of schoolgirl J-pop and death metal — performing the song “Catch Me If You Can” at the Summer Sonic festival in Japan this past August can be seen above.

BABYMETAL released its first-ever concert Blu-ray, “Live ～Legend I, D, Z Apocalypse～“, on November 20 (the limited-edition DVD box was issued on October 19).
