Bassist/vocalist ICS Vortex and Borknagar have confirmed that Borknagar‘s new album is finally completed.

This will be good news for the fans of the band who have been waiting for the follow-up to Urd (2012) for a while now.

The master “tape” of their new album was officially delivered to their label Century Media Records.

According to guitarist Øystein Garnes Brun, the album will contain 8 songs for the standard version and a limited version of the album will have an extra song.

The new album will also feature guest vocals from Kristoffer “Garm” Rygg, the band’s original vocalist.

Jens Bogren mixed the album at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.
