The new year is already looking promising for fans of Schammasch. The black/death metal extremists just confirmed the release of a new album next year.

They have completed work on their upcoming opus. According to their label Prosthetic Records, “it’s a sprawling epic both sonically and aesthetically,” including visual collaborations with acclaimed photographer Ester Segarra.

The band’s latest album was Contradiction released in 2014.
