The reunited GUNS N’ ROSES kicked off its much-anticipated concert at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California Friday night (April 1) just after midnight with a one-two punch of “It’s So Easy” and “Mr. Brownstone“.
Joining singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan on stage were keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer.
Also appearing with them was second keyboardist Melissa Reese, an up-and-coming pop/urban artist who studied classical voice and piano from adolescence.
The concert featured Slash performing the songs “Chinese Democracy” and “Better“, from GUNS N’ ROSES‘ 2008 album “Chinese Democracy“, live for the first time.
