AIRBOURNE’s “Breakin’ Outta Hell”

The official lyric video for “Breakin’ Outta Hell“, the title track of the fourth studio album from Australian hard rockers AIRBOURNE, can be seen above. The CD will be released on September 16 via Spinefarm.

The “Breakin’ Outta Hell” lyric video — created by Richard Oakes from Dark Fable Media — may have implications for those with easy access to open roads.

Breakin’ Outta Hell” was produced by Bob Marlette, who helmed AIRBOURNE‘s “Runnin’ Wild” debut in 2007, and was engineered and mixed by Mike Fraser, who has previously worked with AEROSMITH, VAN HALEN, METALLICA and more.

As previously reported, AIRBOURNE has announced a headline tour of North America for September and October.

The trek kicks off in San Diego on September 12 and concludes in Baltimore on October 14, taking in 21 shows along the way.

Driven by a formidable work hard, play hard ethic, the Australian outfit (led into action by brothers Joel and Ryan O’Keeffe, vocalist/lead guitarist and drummer, respectively; guitarist David Roads and bassist Justin Street complete the lineup) has spent the past ten years establishing itself as a true force of nature: living on the road, selling out major venues and appearing on bills with some of rock’s most legendary names, and this latest North American run will only add to their reputation for incendiary live performances — maximum energy, maximum entertainment.

Thrashers National Suicide have released a video for the song “No Shot No Dead”, taken from the band’s new album Anotheround, available on Scarlet Records.

National Suicide is one of the most promising Thrash metal bands on the European soil.

Their first album (The Old Family Is Still Alive) came out in 2009 and attracted immediate attention from fans and media alike, and was followed by an extensive tour that included high profile festival appearances in Italy (Rock Hard Festival, Play It Loud), Germany (Thrash Assault), Spain (Keep It Thrash, Metal Cova) and more.

An update posted on the official Danzig Facebook page here reveals the band was in the studio this week working on the next Danzig record of all new material since 2010’s critically acclaimed Deth Red Sabaoth.

Glenn Danzig was joined by longtime guitarist Tommy Victor and former drummer Joey Castillo, who also layed down some drums on an Elvis track for the Danzig Sings Elvis record, which is now finished and ready for release.

This September, original singer/songwriter Glenn Danzig, original bassist Jerry Only and long-time guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein – for the first time in over 30 years – will be stepping onto stage together as “The Original Misfits” to headline Riot Fest & Rodeo in Denver, CO (September 2nd – 4th) and Riot Fest & Carnival in Chicago, IL (September 16th – 18th).

From the time of their first gig in 1977, the Misfits and their iconic imagery went on to become one of the most crucially influential, genre-defying bands to ever emerge from North America, the Misfits significance extends well beyond the narrowed path of punk rock and hardcore.

Although not cognizant of how significant they would become, what the Misfits achieved in their initial six-year window deconstructed and redefined rock music.

All the while, the Misfits with Danzig’s unmistakable voice, Only’s ferocious bass sound and the bands anthemic songs, melody-induced choruses and authentically bruising musicianship, cemented their importance with all ensuing generations, whether in arena-filled metal shows or in a sweaty 400-cap club in Tucson.

And for the first time in over three decades, legions of diehard fans from around the world will have the opportunity to hear the original band that created thousands of bands in their wake.
