Slamming Sci Fi Death Metallers Ruptured Birth unleash their debut full length “Transmutant” via CDN Records. Ruptured Birth gets everything right with the Slam-infused Death Metal style heard on its first full-length release. Each of these nine tracks are simply outstanding, infectious and the guitar work instinctually tight, and filled with fantastic riffs, expert melodic interplay, and vibrant solos.
Ruptured Birth is a 4 piece Sci Fi Brutal Slamming death metal band hailing from Sudbury ON, Canada. Formed in the summer of 2014, Shane “Shanesaw Travolta” Scovron, James Bok, and Cody Bradshaw recorded their debut EP “Arachni Supremacy” independently in February of 2015 and started playing around Ontario after rounding out the lineup with Aaron Cividino handling bass guitar duties.
They’ve shared a stage with some heavy hitters such as Cryptopsy, Beyond Creation, Necronomicon, Insurrection, Wake, Vesperia, Bookakee and Evilheart as well as headlining their hometown. Newly signed to Canada’s veteran metal label CDN Records, Ruptured Birth entered Sardonic Moon studio in Whitefish Ontario Canada at the end of march 2016 and recorded the new album “Transmutant.” Featuring 9 songs of Ruptured Birth’s patented Sci Fi Brutal slamming death metal and also features their debut ep as bonus tracks.
With gigs lined up till Christmas including a headlining spot in North Bay, Ontario Deathfest in Toronto, an opening spot with France’s Kronos, and Sudbury Metalfest…2016 is shaping up to be the year of Ruptured Birth.
