Portuguese heavy metallers Lyzzärd have a new video for the song “Yakuza”. The track hails from the band’s debut album, Savage, which was originally self-released earlier this year as a limited CD-R but will now see international CD release on September 27th via Fighter Records. See & hear Lyzzärd‘s “Yakuza” video below:
Formed back in 2013, Lyzzärd released an EP entitled Release the Hounds in 2014, where their music was turning into pure heavy metal, until the recording of their debut album, Savage, during the last months of 2016. This work reflects the true spirit of the band, showing fresh and powerful heavy metal rooted in traditional ’80s bands combined with a modern approach in the vein of bands like Enforcer, Ambush, Skull Fist, White Wizzard, and Striker.

Extreme metal four-piece NARCOTIC WASTELAND – the full-time project of formerNile frontman Dallas Toler-Wade – will release a brand new full-length album, entitled Delirium Tremens, on October 13, 2017 via Megaforce Records/MRI. The album is now available for pre-orders via Amazon, with more options coming soon.
Today, Gear Gods has the exclusive on a new “Rigged” video detailing the gear Dallas Toler-Wade used on Delirium Tremens. Take a look here: http://geargods.net/rigged/rigged-narcotic-wastelands-dallas-toler-wade/
Delirium Tremens shines a spotlight on negative human behavior, inspired by – but not entirely based on – our country’s addiction epidemic. NARCOTIC WASTELANDnamed their new album after the title track, which is about delirium tremens, the medical term for symptoms an alcoholic suffers after about three days without a drink.
Over the years, many of Toler-Wade’s friends and family have fallen into the abyss of addiction, and some have never returned. It’s a tragic byproduct of growing up in Fayetteville, North Carolina, a military town where male residents have a PTSD rate as high as 75% and there are the most reported incidents of shaken baby syndrome in the country. Lots of Fayetteville’s disenchanted population chooses to escape misery through street drugs, prescription medication and alcohol.
Instead of remaining silent about the scourge that has surrounded him, Toler-Wade addresses it throughout Delirium Tremens. In the torrential, hyper-speed guitar-fest “Faces of Meth,” he growls about amphetamines, “slowly killing you while robbing your youth and beauty” and laments those who “never had a chance at a normal life”and are “raised from generations of total ignorance.” Listen to “Faces of Meth” below:
Delirium Tremens is a dramatic musical evolution from the band’s first release. Not only is the production better, the chemistry between Rhone and Toler-Wade is impeccable, each feeling out and feeding off of the other’s playing. And bassist Chris Dupre and drummer Phil Cancilla form a whirlwind rhythm section that’s tighter than a locked door. Coupled with trenchant grooves and impacting vocals, Delirium Tremens is more than an homage to the band’s favorite musicians, it’s a new style wrought from some of the best pages of the past.
“Maybe knowing that this was going to be my main band made me think about it a little more carefully about the songs,” Toler-Wade says. “I had a bit more direction and the stuff I was writing seemed more focused. The first record established a sound and this one definitely took it to the next level.”
Delirium Tremens track listing:
Delirium Tremens was produced and mixed by NARCOTIC WASTELAND at Vegas View Recording and Dallas’ home studio. For mixing, the band tapped Grammy award winning producer Neil Kernon at Auslander, with mastering by metal producer-elite Alan Douches at West West Side Music.

Cripper video “Into the Fire” from the album “Follow Me: Kill!” Online! Check it below:
Cripper comments:
“The video for ‘Into The Fire’ is our 8th music video. So what do you do as a band to not bore yourself with repetition? Right, you crank it up to 11 and take it to the next level! ‘Into The Fire’ is not only the track that inspired us for our upcoming album’s title ‘Follow Me: Kill!’, it is also one of the album’s bosses so to speak. Music, lyrics, story and performance mark another milestone in Cripper’s history. Many thanks at this point to our friends who once more helped us bringing our madness to life with this self-made video production by delivering brilliant performances and lending us their muscles and brains to make things work. We owe you!”
Vocalist Britta Görtz adds:
“Attention has become such an asset, that it overshadows true meaning and content. Big mouths saying big words, everyone is demanding “Follow Me” in one way or the other. The ones with the loudest voices seem to get all the attention, while at the same time politicians are blind to what’s going on around them – they are following their own agenda, leading us right “Into The Fire”. Metaphorically speaking: “Let the pigs feast on pigs, raise your own voice instead, make yourself heard – wherever you are on this planet! Take action and unite against hate, racism and history-repeating!”
Cripper line-up:
Britta Görtz – vocals
Christian Brohenhorst – guitar
Jonathan Stenger – guitar
Lommer – bass
Dennis Weber – drums

Circa Survive have shared their brooding new music video for “The Amulet” the title track from the band’s upcoming sixth full length due out September 22nd fromHopeless Records. “The Amulet” showcases Circa Survive’s ability to balance impressively technical musicality with infectious melodies that wrap around the listener. Throughout the song, pulsating bass lines and intricate guitars melt into cascading drums that build to an epic conclusion, while vocalist Anthony Green continues to prove exactly why he’s one of the most singular voices in alternative rock. You can listen to the track HERE or pre-order the entire album HERE.
“The Amulet“‘s titular track also illustrates Green‘s lyrical prowess as he ties the album’s many intersecting concepts together. The ideas explored on “The Amulet” manage to encompass both Green’s personal life and capture the concerns of the zeitgeist with sometimes startling prescience. He sings of decaying facades in intimate relationships while deftly applying that same painfully honest eye to our volatile political and social climate, searching for what’s next in times where blissful ignorance is no longer acceptable. Filmed at a fireworks convention in Fargo, ND, the music video for “The Amulet” conjures that same sense of unease: the explosions burst and fade like the fervor of affection, while the powerful track subtly repurposes the patriotic imagery into something far more eerie.

Unreal Terror were born in 1984 under the will of Mario Di Donato, Enio Nicolini and Silvio Canzano (guitar, bass and drums, respectively) from the ashes of cult band UT with italian lyrics only. Luciano Palermi replaced Benedetto Spinazzola on vocals and with this line-up they first recorded mini “Heavy & Dangerous” (1985) and then, first full lenght-album “Hard Incursion” (1986) with Giuseppe Continenza replacing Mario Di Donato who started his own projects with cult doomsters Requiem first and later with The Black. In 1989 Unreal Terror broke down definitely, when both Palermi and Continenza left for Usa.
Unreal Terror have been protagonists of italian Heavy Metal scene in 80’s, among bands as Strana Officina, Death SS, Sabotage, Vanexa, Vanadium, Fil di Ferro, etc.
Unexpected reunion is reality in 2012 (with Enio’s son, Iader, on guitar instead of Continenza), thanks to a never ending interest towards the band, when they played live at Heavy Metal Night Festival and then, after the Cd reissue of “Hard
Incursion” (with 4 bonus tracks), at fourth edition of “Acciaio Italiano” festival, in 2014, together with Strana Officina, The Black, White Skull, both well-known and appreciated HM festivals in Italy.
