Lisbon’s premier stoner rockers Miss Lava are back with “Doom Machine”, the perfect soundtrack for your post lockdown needs. The band’s 4th album will be launched worldwide through Small Stone Records and Kozmic Artifactz on January 15th 2021.

“This album reflects on how each one of us can breed and unleash its’ own self-destructive force, ensembled to be part of a giant Doom Machine”, states singer and lyricist Johnny Lee.
“Fourth Dimension”, the opening track, is the first single to be shared. “It is stoner riff explosion that urges people to get out of the cave allegory they live in.”, states Johnny Lee. Directed by José Dinis, you can watch MISS LAVA’s “Fourth Dimension” below:
“Doom Machine” is the band’s most dense output, drenching emotionally from the tragic death of K. Raffah’s baby son and from all the other members’ healthy newborns during the creative process.
“Doom Machine” is a very emotional experience for us… he was only here for a month and a half, but his light was very bright. When we listen to the record, it’s impossible not to hear my son’s energy on many moments.”, shares guitarist K. Raffah.
Sonically, “Doom Machine” dwells from stoner riff raff extravaganza to psychedelic and ghostly swirls amidst mesmerizing interludes. The whole instrumental enchilada was recorded live, giving the record a fresh vibe.
Doom Machine will be released on CD and digitally via Small Stone with Kozmik Artifactz handling a limited vinyl edition. Find preorders at THIS LOCATION.
