Bay Area thrash legends, TRAUMA, unveil the official lyric video for The Rage, created by Andy Pilkington of VERY METAL ART.

The Rage is the opening track on TRAUMA’s new album titled AS THE WORLD DIES, released via The Orchard/Sony. Upon release, the album was #3 most added at NACC Loud Rock, is rapidly climbing the metal charts, and is featured on Spotify’s Heavy Metal Playlist.

TRAUMA formed in 1981 in the San Francisco Bay Area. It currently consists of members Donny Hillier (vocals), longtime TRAUMA drummer Kris Gustofson, guitarist Joe Fraulob (former member of Danzig), guitarist Steve Robello (former member of Dublin Death Patrol) and bassist Greg Christian, founding member of Testament. The official lyric video for the song “Fear Of The Living Dead” from veteran German metallers GRAVE DIGGER can be seen below.

GRAVE DIGGER‘s last album, “Healed By Metal”, was released in January 2017 via Napalm Records.

Boltendahl spoke to Get Ready To Rock! about what inspires him to write new music. “I would say that we are inspired by our own creativity,” he said. “As you well know, we have been playing this style of music for many years now and every single member of this band is a much-accomplished musician, so, at the end, what we do is simply play the type of music that we love — the music we grew up listening to. We are lucky to have acquired our own style over the years and that, I believe, is the most important thing to have. When people say to me, ‘Oh, you sound like this or that band,’ my response to them is, ‘Well, we sound like GRAVE DIGGER. Thank you very much.’ [Laughs]”

Chris also talked about how the fact that most of GRAVE DIGGER‘s current lineup has been intact for almost a decade affects the band’s songwriting process. He said: “The core members have been playing together for more than twenty years and that certainly makes things easier when bringing new music to life, but, at the end of the day, it all boils down to good quality control, you know? I have to really feel that a certain song deserves to be released under the GRAVE DIGGER moniker — if not, then we simply discard it. We create many riffs when working on a new album but not all of them are good enough to make it to a GRAVE DIGGERalbum. The quality level in the decision-making process is very high indeed. Because our music is pretty guitar-oriented, we place much focus on the quality of the riffs we choose to utilize and so the decision-making process is very tough indeed.”

RYAN ROXIE (Alice Cooper guitarist) has announced the release of his new solo album ‘Imagine Your Reality‘ on May 25th, 2018 via Cargo Records UK. Vocalist/guitarist & songwriter, RYAN ROXIE, is best known as ALICE COOPER’S long-time lead guitarist and collaborator. He has also worked with Slash & Gilby Clarke and been a member of Classic Rock Award nominated band, Casablanca. Roxie has had an impressive ride so far!

His forthcoming album, ‘Imagine Your Reality’ is his first official ‘solo‘ release and sees him joined by other noteworthy musicians, including a collaboration with Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander on the track California Man.

Says Roxie, “Cheap Trick were a major influence in my musical upbringing. Both Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen have joined us onstage at Alice Cooper shows in the past and have always been the most quintessential rock stars. In my opinion Robin Zander’s voice IS the definition of Rock ‘n’ Roll, so having him guest vocal on California Man definitely ticks a box off my ‘greatest moments in rock ‘n roll’ list.”

KING SATAN To Kick Off European Tour For April 2018!

Finnish industrial metal / aggrotech occultists known as KING SATAN to kick off their first European Tour for April 2018. The tour, aptly titled ”Industrial Metal Means Sex Magick And Rock’n’roll European Tour 2018”, will take place in Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania.

KING SATAN was founded in 2015 by KING ALEISTER SATAN a.k.a. FRA. ZETEKH (known before as a mastermind of SATURNIAN MIST). The band released their over-the-top debut album ”King Fucking Satan” in May 2017 via SATURNAL RECORDS. The debut album caused lots of controversies in the metal world, and at the same time received huge acclamation from the critics and fans due to the genre-bending nature of the music, combined with provocative images and lyrical themes which circulate between the themes of occult, spiritual anarchy and rock ’n’ roll spirit. ”King Fucking Satan” was introduced to the world with four conspicuous music videos and singles : ”Satanized (Praise Hail Satan!)”, ”Psygnosis”, ”Enter Black Fire” and ”Dance With The Devil” — all demonstrated the musical amalgam of industrial metal, aggrotech, dance punk and hard rock and all together comprises the musical style of KING SATAN.

New Rob Zombie Movie 3 FROM HELL!

Actor Billy Blair has officially been added to the cast of Rob Zombie’s upcoming horror flick 3 FROM HELL. Billy made his way to Los Angeles earlier this week, where shooting of the film is well underway. 3 FROM HELL is a follow-up to his The Devil’s Rejects (2005), a sequel to House of 1,000 Corpses (2003) that followed the murderous, backwoods Firefly family as they hit the road in an attempt to escape a vengeful police force.

Dallas, Texas rock trio JUNK, fronted by Blair, unleashed their new EP entitled ‘Double Soundtrack’ on Friday, January 5th, 2018. Junk recently inked a worldwide deal with Zombie Shark Records, the new record label from Noah “Shark” Robertson (Motograter, The Browning).

JUNK is fronted by guitarist and vocalist, Billy Blair (Surgeon General, Mother Truckin Skull Diggers, Earshot, Love Stricken Demise) who is also a prolific actor and has appeared in such films as Machete, Machete Kills, The Last Stand, Jonah Hex, and Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. Blair recently landed a role in Alita: Battle Angel, an upcoming American science fiction action film based on Yukito Kishiro’s Battle Angel Alita manga, set to be released on July 20, 2018.

The three-piece is rounded out by bassist and vocalist, Benjamin K. Bachman (Never Mind The Darkness, Zativah Kid), who has also produced various solo albums and material for film, and drummer Brian “Boog Nasty” (July Alley, Shadow Reichenstein).

Blair states, “We are beyond pleased to be a part of a label that believes in its bands and has our backs.. and that label is Zombie Shark Records! Horror movies and rock n roll in a gift bag!”

The band takes influence from a wide range of artists such as Billy Idol, SOUNDGARDEN, Danzig, INXS, Doobie Brothers, and Alice In Chains and has shared the stage with bands such as Skid Row, Dokken, Faster Pussycat, and Steel Panther.

The band recently recorded two songs, “Like Lightning” and “Built to Last”, produced by Grammy Award winner Tre Nagella at Luminous Sound Studios in Dallas, TX. Both tracks are featured on the soundtrack to the film BLOOD SOMBRERO, starring Billy Blair.

The band’s latest singles, “Pop Rock Genocide” and “The Sasquatch”, were recorded and produced at Soundhaven Studios in Rockwall, TX by Jason Schauer and mixed by Travis Wyrick (P.O.D.,10 Years, Shinedown). The songs will be featured in the upcoming horror/comedy movie, CHEROKEE CREEK.

WIDOW’S PEAK is an aural catalogue of carnage, a metallic mausoleum of pain, a sonic symphony of suffering. Their music does not reach for the stars, but rather for the cold void that surrounds them, the darkness that lives in the soul of man.

Make no mistake; WIDOW’S PEAK’s ferocity is the music of the spears, metal dripping with blood, bile and venom!

Formed in April of 2016, in Calgary AB, WIDOW’S PEAK have toured hard, their line-up has gelled, and are now on the cusp of releasing their debut six-track EP “Graceless”.

“CBT (which stands for Cock and Ball Torture) is about as gruesome as it gets, lyrically. It revolves around the fetish some men have for genital mutilation and the people who indulge them in it. The writing process for the song involved intensive research (including graphic videos) about not only the fetish, but the anatomy of the male genitals and various methods of genital mutilation. The lyrics aim to instill the disgust one might experience if they, too, watched someone cut out their own testicles on camera.”

“We think fans will react to “Graceless” with a combination of shock, disgust, and adrenaline-pumping groove.
