Daylight Dies – Reveal More Details About New Album
Candlelight Records has confirmed October 9th as the North American release date for Daylight Dies’ new album, A Frail Becoming, four years after the release of Lost To The Living. Mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (Opeth, Katatonia, Devin Townsend), the album features photography from award-winning Jonathan Mehring and packaging design by Agni Kaster. The cover artwork and final tracklist and can be found below.

SEPULTURA Guitarist Performs With KREATOR At ROCK IN RIO LISBOA
SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser joined German thrash veterans KREATOR on stage this past Friday (May 25) at the Rock In Rio Lisboa festival in Lisbon, Portugal to perform the songs “Extreme Aggression” and “People Of The Lie“. Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be seen above.
KREATOR‘s new album, “Phantom Antichrist“, will be released on June 1 in Europe and June 5 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden with renowned producer Jens Bogren (OPETH, KATATONIA, SOILWORK, DEVIN TOWNSEND, AMON AMARTH).
SEPULTURA is touring in support of its 12th studio album, and Nuclear Blast Records debut, “Kairos“, which hit stores in July 2011.

TOURNIQUET To Release ‘Antiseptic Bloodbath’ This Summer
Christian metallers TOURNIQUET will release a new album, “Antiseptic Bloodbath“, this summer via Pathogenic Records. A teaser trailer for the CD can be seen above. Also available is the album’s cover artwork, which was created by Travis Smith of Seempieces (OPETH, DEVIN TOWNSEND, NEVERMORE, ICED EARTH, DEATH, AMORPHIS).

The new DEVIN TOWNSEND it’s on the way
Canadian vocalist/guitarist/producer Devin Townsend (ex-STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) has checked in with an update on his forthcoming Epicloud album:

”
Vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen, who recorded vocals for the Epicloud album in Vancouver with Townsend, recently checked in with the following update:
“Mister Devin Townsend is a genius. I cannot tell you how awesomely fantastic his album will be. Epic! Epic! Epic! And he made me do 20 hours of the loudest and most gorgeous vocals I’ve ever done.”
